It’s only 5 minutes West of the 405 FWY and 8 minutes North of the 105 FWY. Otaku will find plenty of parking at the Marriott. For those travelling by air, there’s a 24 hour complimentary Marriott shuttle from LAX.

The convention space is all on one floor just below the lobby, and you can easily access your sleeping room directly from the convention floor by one of 6 swift elevators. The LAX Marriott boasts 3 restaurants: JW’s, serving steaks & seafood, Latitude 33, themed as “tastes of the Pacific Rim”, and Champions American Sports Bar with a very reasonably priced menu. There’s also a Starbucks which will be open for us all weekend, and many restaurants, shops and eateries are just a short walk away and fit just about anyone’s budget.

The sleeping rooms in this hotel are very generously apportioned, the LAX Marriott having been built over 40 years ago when hotels were still built with a customer’s comfort in mind. The pool is gigantic and surrounded by a lanai deck that’s perfect for cosplay gatherings. There’s a large, well equipped gym and a small Laundromat in case that rare stain on clothing needs to be removed in a hurry.

For Anime Los Angeles  we are working to block all the first floor rooms, those on the pool level, with people who expect to be up “late night”. The number and types of rooms are limited, so speak to us early. If you want to be on the “late night” floor you must let us know. Send your hotel liaisons an email with your reservation number, the names of all listed on the reservation and any details you’d care to share.

Remember if your aren’t on the first floor, please go quietly, no running, squeeing, or tromping down the halls in groups.

The Anime Los Angeles room block closes on or about December 20, 2011. You must make a reservation by this date in order to receive the reduced rate. The Anime Los Angeles reduced parking rate for overnight parking is only available for rooms within our rate block. (One-day parking, if you’re commuting each day, is available at our rate. You may need to bring your parking stub to Information to get it validated.)

The reduced parking rate is $13 ($10 off the regular rate) plus tax. This rate applies for members who are staying at the hotel and people coming in each day. If you are staying at the LAX Marriott, but not under the Anime Los Angeles reduced room rate, then you may be charged the regular rate.

There are no reduced suite rates. There are no suites available to Anime Los Angeles.
