Well other than a lot of fun, Cosplay Chess is a game in which you, the cosplayer, are used as pieces in an epic large-scale chess match controlled by our two pre-selected chess masters. Who will these chess masters be? Perhaps it will be an epic struggle between ninja versus pirate or maybe just girl versus boy otaku match. Even we don’t know.

The how? Well, the game itself employs the same rules as a normal chess match, but this is all that remains normal. Our wise chess masters will hand out directions to our cosplaying chess pieces as cosplayers move across our large scale chess board. As each piece moves to “attack” an opponent piece, our cosplayers will “battle” until only one King remains. It is a unique environment where we may all be witness to such epic “battles” like the Black Knight Sephiroth versus White Bishop Naruto.
