All of the people helping to make the convention happen are volunteers,
from the chair on down. Bold names are department heads and
co-heads/seconds.
All our volunteers are members of the convention. Typically most staff (starting with the Chair) pay for their membership the first year they volunteer,
and if they volunteer a certain number of hours the next year is free for them. If they volunteer that next year,
the following year is free,
and so forth.
This document has been formatted with some extra page breaks thrown in, to make it
easier
to read the printed page.

"Events Division" handles big,
fancy items that have a well-defined
time and place,
but
have a lot more complexity and coordination than a simple panel. "Program Division" handles items such as panels and video programs where the biggest planning issue is figuring out the time and place. In other words,
it's a matter of juggling resources vs. juggling time-slots.
