Registration FAQ

1. Have you processed my pre-registration yet?
   Your name?
2. I pre-registered online, why aren't I listed? It can take a day or two for the website to catch up if you used your credit card or Paypal balance; if you paid from your checking account, allow up to a week.
3. Can I join at the door? Certainly. At the door memberships will be available for $40, or $20 for any single day. (Note: no student discount or group discount will be available at the door).
4. Is the student discount available at the door? No. Memberships at the door are $40 for the full weekend, or $20 for just one day.

6. Note to parents: if you're not staying in our hotel, please don't leave your children here overnight without someone responsible for them. We are not a babysitting service. We also would appreciate a way to reach you in case of an emergency.
7. Notice to students: we expect you to behave yourselves so we don't have to call your parents. Your behavior is what's important, not your age.
8. Parents, please take note of our "parent-in-tow" program: every paid member under the age of 15 may bring one adult for free. (Doesn't have to be a parent -- can be a step-parent, aunt or uncle, teacher, grown-up friend of the family, etc.)
9. Can I pay at the door by check? Yes. Please make it payable to Anime LA.
10. Does the membership rate include all three days? Yes. The prices we're quoting here are for a full 3-day membership. We give you a badge with your name on it, and you wear that badge all three days.
11. What hours will Registration be open? Registration will open at 10:00 am each day, in the lobby of the hotel. In the evening, Registration will move from its usual table to a person wearing an apron that says "Registration" for evening memberships.
12. I sent you money via Paypal, how do I make sure you have the correct name and address for my membership? Using the e-mail account that you used on Paypal, send a message to reg at animelosangeles.org with all that information. (If you can't actually send e-mail from that address, mention it in the notes field when you send in the payment, and send us an e-mail with your name, address, and what e-mail address you used on Paypal.)
13. Do you give free memberships to the press? No. But we are happy to put your affiliation on your badge, on a line under your name. Or above your name, if you prefer it that way.
14. Do you have Industry/Professional passes? Again, we're happy to put your affiliation on your badge. If you think we might be interested in hearing you speak or make some other presentation, please contact our Live Program department and we'll consider it. If you're just coming to check us out and look around, please see our registration rates above.
15. Can I pick up my badge Thursday night? Yes, stop by the hotel after 4:00, and look for us in the lobby.
