AMVs received by e-mail and by post office box have been logged and can be viewed on this link.
This is where you can learn how to submit AMVs to the Anime Los Angeles AMV contest. You can
also check the status of your submission. Please send a message to Mikal if you are interested
in participating in the AMV contest at Anime Los Angeles 2! Prizes and categories
will be decided based on number and type of participating AMVs and any sponsors we happen to aquire.
We will have at least one prize voted on by the members. Deadline for submissions is
31 December 2005.
PLEASE READ ALL THE RULES BEFORE SUBMITTING.
No AMVs over 6:00 minutes in length, please.
And contact us before you e-mail your files, so we can make
sure our mail server can handle the load.

Recommended Formats for AMV submission are as follows
Video: Mpeg 2, HuffYUV
Audio: MPEG Layer III, Microsoft WAV
Tape Media will NOT be accepted. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
If your AMV runs in a different format than those recommended, please also include any
necessary codecs, players and important instructions or we will likely be unable to play your
AMV in the contest.
To submit an AMV, please first contact us at E-mail: amv at animelosangeles.org before
e-mailing us any large attachments!
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE CONVENTION. Please also, no more than 2 submissions per
group and 1 submission per person. Entrants are encouraged to join the convention. Non-members
who wish to submit entries to the contest may enlist a member to act as their agent, in which
case the "1 submission per person" rule applies to the agent.
