Sam Escobosa submitted a hand-painted piece showing Ala with stars and sparkles. A one-pound See's Chocolates gift certificate will be in the mail shortly.

Once these are printed, I'll send them to all past and current members of Animé Los Angeles that we have addresses for. If you're a member of next year's convention, you'll receive one with your membership number on it. (If you don't get one by the end of the month, or if you didn't receive the previous postcard, tell me!)

This is Sam's first postcard design for us.

This round of postcard design competition saw some very strong entries, all different. Thank you to all the artists that contributed. It was a very difficult decision to make -- the hardest yet.

Deadline for the next round of postcards is Wednesday, the 3rd of October. That postcard will be the last one we print for this convention.
