I've greatly appreciated the list of nearby restaurants/stores/etc in the past, and I was just wondering if we were going to see something like that again in '08 for the new area.

I don't know the area too well, but I can offer the following bits of information:
Inside the hotel:
Daily Grill (restaurant and bar)
Starbucks
Directly across the street from the hotel (easy walking distance):
Del Taco
McDonald's
Panda Express
As for nearby supermarkets, there's a Ralphs at the corner of Buena Vista and Victory (about three-quarters of a mile away - you'll need a car). At this same intersection, across the street, I saw a Quizno's, Baskin Robbins and other eating places.

Yep, we had the fast food on the list but thank you for the idea of adding in just a plain supermarket! I had not thought of that! =)
The list has transportation options, a wide variety of stores including Fabric and shoes for cosplay needs, lots of fast food and some nicer resteraunts, and medical/emergency providers, so far. With luck, by the time of the con it will have everything on it one could need!

You mean, by the time it's printed, and stuffed into the reg bags, right?

i don't know how much this will help.. (if it helps at all) but walt disney studios is in burbank... (i mean where all the movies r made)
