Is there anyone on the A-LA staff who is officially handling lost and found requests? I'm missing my DS game case and was wondering if anyone found it during clean-up/teardown.
I'm missing a white Nintendo DS game case with a picture of Yoshi on it. Inside the case are a spare stylus (also white), and the following six games:
Super Mario Bros. Big Brain Academy Yoshi's Island Cooking Mama Animal Crossing Final Fantasy III
I think I lost it sometime Saturday night, either while waiting in the masquerade line, or in the masquerade room itself.
I'm also missing a train ticket (Amtrak, from Burbank to Goleta, dated January 6, 2008). I couldn't find it when boarding the train and had to purchase one on board. If someone found it, I'd like to have it back, because I can still use them for up to 6 months from date of purchase.
Of course I'll also contact the hotel; even though I think I lost it somewhere in the convention center, it's possible that I misplaced it either in my room or it slipped out of my pocket somewhere between the hotel room and the convention center.
Does the convention center have a different phone number than the hotel? (I.e. Are the hotel and convention center run by the same entity?)

Forgot to mention that I am pretty sure I lost the train ticket in my room somewhere, but again, it could have slipped out of my pocket somewhere else in the hotel or convention center, so thought I'd mention it anyway.

PLEASE contact the chairman by email regarding your lost DS case. The lost and found from the convention was taken to the office and then packed up when the convention left.

I know what you're talking about. It was brought to me at the game room. I saw it and suggested that it be sent to Con-ops lost & found. If it's anywhere, it should be with them.

Thanks! That takes a great weight off my shoulders. How would I go about contacting Con-Ops Lost and Found? What's the e-mail address? Or should I use the general purpose "contact us" form on the A-LA website?
