Actually, as of the 20th of February we have 146 members.
While a few of them have paid the "Early Bird" registration rate, and a few others are people who couldn't make it this year and asked for their memberships to be "rolled over" to next year, most of them are members who volunteered at Anime Los Angeles 4 for 12 or more hours and have a "pass-on" membership to the next convention.
As the convention nears, I'll update this thread when we pass the 200 mark, 300, and so forth.
For those keeping track, in year 2 we had 500-something members pre-register and 800-something join at the door, for a total of 1346; in year 3 we had 900-something members pre-register and 800-something showed up at the door, for a total of 1783. [Anyone want to make a guess how many we'll have this time around?]

Last year's run: We had
200+ members by 29 November 2006 (56 days before the convention),
300+ as of 34 days out,
400+ as of 19 days out,
500+ as of 15 days out,
600+ as of 11 days out,
700+ as of 9 days out,
800+ as of 7 days out, and
900+ as of 3 days before the convention.
Official total members: 1785.
Run up to 2006 convention:
100+ by 15 November 2005 (73 days out),
200+ by 21 days out,
300+ by 11 days out,
400+ by 8 days out, and
500+ by 7 days out.
Official total members: 1346.
I don't have the first year's numbers handy, but I remember we hit 100 somewhere around the first of the year, and our total was 616.

As of the 14th of May, we have 201 members.
(Last year it took us until Thanksgiving to get this many. I don't have any information as to how many we had last May.)
The membership rate goes up after 31 July.

As of today, Monday the 1st of October, 95 days before the convention, we have 362 members. (We had 299 last Thursday night. Over the weekend we processed all of the dealers and a handful of other new members.)
I don't know how many we had on this date a year ago. I know it was less than 178 because that's how many we had by 2007-11-11 (76 days out).
Last year we hit 299 on 2007-12-16 (41 days out), and had this many (362) by 2008-01-01 (25 days out).

As of today, Monday the 29th of October, 67 days before the convention, we have 413 members.
Last year, 67 days before the convention, we had 192 members.
We had this many by 20 days before the convention last year.
