The Keepers of the Vault are proud to present the Anime Los Angeles 2008 game room. We had great success last year, and this year we aim to continue that streak. We would like to call our game room, "Valhalla". In Norse myhtology, it was a heaven for great warriors, and as such, our game room should likely be filled with great gaming warriors from all genres.
Rosters of games will be the same from last year, with some new additions, particularly for the Nintendo Wii.
Tournaments to be held will include the following:
1. Super Smash Bros. Melee 2. Halo 3 3. Naruto 4 GNT (Assuming we have the game) 4. King of Fighters XI
Potential tournaments to include:
1. Street Fighter Alpha Anthology 2. Guilty Gear XX Slash/Accent Core 3. Wii Sports (!!!)
I am also considering holding a special, final tournament. Requirements are as follows.
1. Final game to be announced on the day of the tournament. 2. No entry fees will be charged for the tournament. 3. CONTESTANTS MUST HAVE ATTENDED ALL TOURNAMENTS TO QUALIFY.
The top 8 contestants overall will be welcome into the final tournament. The winner will receive an excellent grand price, and be declared "Champion of Valhalla".
Other things that will come back will be the Challenge the Staff Competition, and individual game challenges which will be determined at a later time.
Suggestions for tournaments are welcome, as well as game requests that will be considered. As of now, we (should) have a copy of Naruto 4 secured. I will notify if we are in need of games. More to come with time.
