As of today, the 10th of December, 25 days before the convention, we have 800 members.
We had this many pre-registered members last year when we got to 9 days before the convention.. which means it was while we were trying to finalize the membership database to get ready for the convention.
In any event, last year as of 25 days before the convention we had 373 pre-registered members. So we're still more than double last year's numbers at this point.

As of today, the 13th of December, 22 days before the convention, we have 959 members.
We had this many pre-registered members last year when we got to 4 days before the convention.. which means it was while we were trying to finalize the membership database to get ready for the convention.
We're also a couple of days before our official pre-reg cutoff, which comes a week earlier this year. So comparing with the equivalent point in the last public week for pre-registration, when we had about 558 members, we're up 53%.
I really don't know what comparisons actually make any sense as far as trying to project our total membership at the convention. Will we find a lot of big group registrations in the mailbox when we check it this weekend? (Or will they be put in the mail Saturday, and turn up on Tuesday?) And considering we had 275 added to the database after the official cutoff dates as they all got rounded up...
So I'll go out on a limb here, and say that if everything else holds constant, we'll have 1300 or 1400 pre-reg. And if the same 900 people show up at-the-door that came last year, we won't turn anyone away.
Wouldn't that be nice?

1311 as of this evening. A lot of Paypal e-checks just cleared, and we had a couple of large groups come in via U.S. Mail on top of the deadline that are just now getting processed.
